Cádiz CF Try-Out in Sousse, Tunisia – Official Recap

Olympia Dream was proud to partner with the International Area of Cádiz Club de Fútbol and Nomadar to deliver a major talent identification program in Sousse, Tunisia. Over three intensive days, Cádiz CF coaches Pablo Sánchez, Jesús Medina, and Álvaro Sánchez evaluated more than 150 young players born between 2003 and 2012 at the El Mouradi sports complex.

This initiative was created to identify three promising Tunisian talents who will be invited to Cádiz for a 10-day formative experience inside the club’s youth academy. The selected players will train with academy teams, be evaluated by Cádiz CF’s technical staff, and enjoy a complete sporting and cultural immersion in the city.

The event also featured the collaboration of former Tunisian international Karim Haggui, a defender with over 70 caps, World Cup 2006 experience, and more than 350 matches in top-level European football. Haggui highlighted the importance of this project and expressed his satisfaction in seeing a Spanish club invest in emerging Tunisian talent.

Throughout the program, training sessions and matches were conducted every morning and afternoon, organised by age categories to ensure an optimal evaluation process. All participants received a certificate of participation, and the official list of selected players will be announced soon by Olympia Dream.

This successful initiative strengthens Cádiz CF’s international expansion strategy while reinforcing Olympia Dream’s mission to connect gifted young athletes with real professional pathways. Together, we are building bridges between North African talent and European football development structures.
